Training isn't about having a perfect dog. It's about helping you and your dog understand each other.

At Mutti Dog Services, I use practical, relationship-based training to help dogs become calmer, more confident, and easier to live with. Whether you're working with a new rescue, a young dog who needs some structure, or a dog who has developed behaviors you'd like to change, we'll build skills you can actually use in everyday life.

Train While You Work

Train While You Work is a two-week program that gives your dog focused training without the stress of a traditional board-and-train program.

Instead of sending your dog away for weeks to live in an unfamiliar environment, your dog spends the day with me Mon - Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. keeping their routine, home, and people intact nights and weekends.

Days include:

  • Obedience Training - sit, down, stay, come

  • Walks - good manners on leash and exercise

  • Field trips - practice skills in real-world environments

At the end of the program, we'll have a training session together so you know exactly how to maintain your dog's progress at home.

It's a practical, lower-stress alternative to board and train.

You work. Your dog trains. Everyone wins.

Cost: $1,250

Private lessons

All private lessons are approximately one hour and are tailored to your dog, your goals, and your home environment.

  • Looking for a refresher? Want to try out a single lesson before you commit? Then this option is for you!

  • A great starting point for dogs and people who need help with foundational skills and everyday manners.

  • More time to build reliable skills, address specific challenges, and practice in a variety of real-world situations.

  • The most comprehensive package for dogs who need more support, more practice, or help with multiple behaviors.

What do you need?

Every training program is customized to you and your dog. Depending on your goals, we may work on:

  • Basic obedience & household manners

  • Sit, down, stay, place & recall

  • Leash skills & polite greetings

  • Impulse control, focus & engagement

  • Jumping, barking & other unwanted behaviors

  • Confidence building & rescue support

  • Real-world training & distractions

  • Guidance for continuing training at home

Training starts indoors in a calm, quiet environment where we can address the behaviors that matter most in your everyday life. As your dog progresses, we'll take those skills outdoors and into increasingly distracting environments.

Every training program starts with a 15-minute Meet & Greet. I'll meet you and your dog, talk through your goals and challenges, and make sure we're the right fit for each other.

If it feels like a good match, we'll create a training plan tailored to you and your dog and get started.
